The internal optical path consists of a polarization-diversity structure and two balanced detection outputs. Abbreviations: SIG = Signal input; LO = Local Oscillator input; PBS = Polarization Beam Splitter; PM OC = Polarization-Maintaining Optical Coupler; BPD = Balanced Photodetector.
